Vernon Communications - Wireless Internet

Race across the information super-highway with Vernon Communications Wireless Internet. This service is available in Viroqua and surrounding area customers only.

A Network Interface Card (NIC) is required in a computer in order to have High Speed Internet. These may be purchased through Vernon Communications at an additional cost. Call for details.

If a customer wishes to have the Internet service networked, a router can be purchased for an additional cost. A router allows you to network 2-4 PC's. A hub may also be needed when networking multiple machines. Customer must have CAT 5 wiring to where the router is to be place and all computer locations that will be networked. There is a fixed fee for general installation; any extra rewiring on site will be based on time and materials.
Customers can see speeds from 1 Meg up to 3 Meg dependent upon the visibility and signal from the tower.

A Static IP is also available for purchase at an additional charge.

Wireless Internet is only available in selected areas in an around Viroqua. If you are interested in Wireless Internet, Vernon Communications will provide a site survey. The purpose of the survey is to see if the site that is being requested service can be reached by our network.

Wireless Internet Billing Information

Your wireless Internet service will run from the 21st of the month until the 20th of the following month. You should get your bill on the first of the month. We bill in areas and the minimum billing period is one month. All rates are subject to tax. For your service needs, see the contact information listed above.
